Where To Get Black Titanium Fallout 76

Black Titanium is a crafting material that is used primarily to craft and repair Power Armor pieces. In this guide we’ll have a look at the best Black Titanium Farming methods in Fallout 76.

Where to find Black Titanium

There are three ways to get Black Titanium:

  1. Use extractors in workshops or your C.A.M.P. and place them on Black Titanium deposits.
  2. Farm Black Titanium Ore from Black Titanium veins and Rich Black Titanium veins.
  3. Kill Mole Miners to get Miner Suit Scraps. Scrapping these will yield Black Titanium Scraps.

Black Titanium Ore Locations

You can build your C.A.M.P. close to a Black Titanium deposit or take a workshop with a Black Titanium deposit close by. This allows you to build a Black Titanium Extractor on that deposit, so you can loot 10 Black Titanium Ore every 30 minutes.

Note: If you want to extract Black Titanium Scraps with your C.A.M.P., you can not use deposits that belong to a workshop. Cross-reference the map of workshop locations below.

These are all Black Titanium deposits in Appalachia. Please check our Fo76 Resources Map If you want to combine it with other deposits.

There is only one workshop with a Black Titanium vein available. This map is from our Fallout 76 Workshops List. you’ll find Titanium at Gorge Junkyard, number 2 on the map:

Black Titanium Farming Route

To get the most amount of Black Titanium you can hit a few very specific Titanium veins and kill a few Mole Miners. If you prefer a video showing a solid farming route, watch this:

If you watched the video already and just need a quick reminder, here are the locations to visit:

  1. Welch Station in the south of Ash Heap: 76 Black Titanium Ore.
  2. Go east to the AMS Testing Site: 76 Titanium Ore.
  3. Travel north and move into Bleching Betty: 96 Black Titanium Ore.
  4. Travel east to Blackwater Mine in Savage Divide: 6 Mole Miners.

If you’re on a killing spree you might want to check out these spots too to farm more Miner Suit Scraps, that aren’t mentioned in the video:

  1. Garrahan Mining
  2. Kerwood Mine
  3. Monogah Mine
  4. Mount Blair

And after a whole lot of farming, you are now a little bit closer to crafting your T-45 or Excavator Power Armor! 😉

How to turn Black Titanium Ore into Black Titanium

After you collected enough Black Titanium Ore you need to smelt it into Black Titanium Scraps. Follow these steps:

  1. Make sure to equip the Super Duper Perk Card.
  2. Visit a Chemistry Station and click “Craft”.
  3. Select “Smelting”.
  4. Here you can smelt 3 Black Titanium Ore + 4 Acid into 2 Black Titanium Scrap.

And don’t be confused by the naming: Black Titanium Scrap is Black Titanium. If you want to craft something and it needs Black Titanium, it will use your Black Titanium Scraps from your inventory, Stash Box, or Scrapbox.
