The game Hogwarts Legacy allows players to earn gold (galleons) in exchange for their old equipment.
You will start the game with a standard student outfit, in the colors of your house. Hogwarts Legacy does not contain a menu for selling items, you will need to visit certain NPCs to do so.
Right after the first few classes at Hogwarts, you will be required to go to Hogsmeade for the first time to pick up some supplies with another student in your class.
There are several stores and shops to explore in the city, but you should first look at Thomas Brown’s (the Tomes and Scrolls shop) where you can exchange any items you no longer need for Galleons.
