Where To Watch Fisk Season 2

There’s a new workplace comedy in town and its name is Fisk. Created by Kitty Flanagan and Marty Sheargold, the Australian television show follows lawyer Helen Tudor-Fisk (Flanagan) as she starts work at a law firm called Gruber & Gruber. Throughout the series, Helen struggles to balance her chaotic personal life with her high-demand professional life – the latter of which brings an array of quirky clients.

The series began airing on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 2021, but recently found a new audience upon being added to Netflix, where it is currently streaming internationally. Fisk is one of many Australian offerings on the platform, including Wellmania and Why Are You Like This.

Alongside Flanagan, the show stars Marty Sheargold, Julia Zemiro, and Aaron Chen in the main roles.

Decider’s Joel Keller praised the comedy in his review, writing, “They let most of the laughs come from the characters, which means that when there is a gag, it has more impact. Not everything works, like the Airbnb owner’s grandmother constantly invading Helen’s space, but the show works more often than not.”

Julia Zemiro, who plays Roz Gruber in the popular comedy, told Yahoo in June that she’s holding out for a third season and detailed the reasoning behind the hold-up. “How do seasons work? You’ve [got] to write them,” the actor said while on the red carpet.

Referring to show writers Kitty and Penny Flanagan, Zemiro said, “Kitty and Penny are working tonight, and touring a lot doing Kitty’s show. So it’s really about, have they written it?” She continued to chat about the finale of the previous season which saw Kitty Flanagan’s Helen being named partner at the law firm. “I also feel like season two ended on this beautiful kind of finish. She became partner, right? So, as Kitty likes to say, we’re happily writing one. Who knows if it gets made? So I’m crossing all my fingers and all my toes.”

We’re crossing our fingers and toes, too! As for now, Netflix should set its sights on uploading the second season.
