For Bourland, it will be the first match-up since he fought Santario Martin in 2022, in what was then his first fight since 2018, and will see him look to improve upon a 17-2 record to date.

What is Jake Paul’s boxing record?

Bar a lone amateur bout victory over fellow social media star Deji Olatunji in 2018, all of Jake Paul’s subsequent fights have come professionally, starting when he picked up a technical knockout victory over YouTuber Ali Eson Gib on his debut in January 2020.

Since then, he has scored a string of impressive victories, landing a knockout result against former NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion Nate Robinson in November 2020, before turning his attention to other combat sports opponents with a shock win over an ex-UFC star in Ben Askern the following April.

A pair of bouts with Tyron Woodley helped extend a perfect record for Paul before his unanimous decision victory over Anderson Silva just under a year ago in October 2020 took him to a 6-0 record and set the stage for his biggest bout to date with Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia.

Defeat to the Briton marked the first major setback of his career, but back-to-back wins over Nate Diaz and Andre August have restored him to a glowing record.

How many rounds will Jake Paul’s next fight be?

Jake Paul’s next fight will last eight rounds, returning to his professional career’s typical length of bouts. The Problem Child previously fought his first two matches over six rounds, while his fight with Diaz was over 10 rounds, but all other fights have been eight.

However, this is still a figure below most major championship bouts, with marquee boxing fights typically running to 12 rounds.

While The Problem Child will be among the main attractions in Puerto Rico, he will not be the only one looking for success when he takes to the ring.

Amanda Serrano will top the bill in front of a home crowd as she aims to defend her unified featherweight crown in a clash with Nina Meinke. At the same time, Euphoria actor Javon Walton is set to make his professional debut.

Jonathan Gonzalez and Rene Santiago will meanwhile meet in a junior flyweight contest, while Krystal Rosado and Gloria Munguilla will also put their records on the line in a junior bantamweight tussle.
