Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie History
Keigo Maki started the manga version of Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie in 2019. Kodansha ran it on its Magazine Pocket (a.k.a. “Magapoke”) website and app. The manga officially ended in 2023.
The first season of the anime aired in 2022. At the time that this was written, it was not clear if there would be a season 2 or not.
The series’ English title is a fairly accurate translation of its Japanese title, Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san.
