Series four of the popular coming-of-age comedy-drama Never Have I Ever has been released on Netflix on Thursday.
And fans hungry for the Mindy Kaling/Lang Fisher creation now have 10 deliciously comic episodes to feast on.

What can we expect from Never Have I Ever?
Devi Vishwakumar is an Indian-American high school student who in the first series was dealing with the death of her father.

As the Netflix blurb explains: “After a traumatic year, an Indian-American teen just wants to spruce up her social status – but friends, family and feelings won’t make it easy on her.”
We pick up with her in her final year of high school. She has applied to go to college and her romantic life has stepped up a gear.
Where is the series filmed?
In the series, Devi goes to the fictional Sherman Oaks High in the San Fernando Valley, in Los Angeles, California.
The show is said to be loosely based on Mindy Kaling’s own childhood experiences in the Boston area.
Kaling, who shot to fame in the US version of The Office, was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, just across the river from Boston.
She has admitted the Never Have I Ever is “in the spirit” of her childhood.

As well as garnering praise from fans and critics, the comedy-drama has been hailed as a watershed moment in South Asian representation in Hollywood.
Never Have I Ever was filmed at the Universal Studios Lot in Universal City, California which is in the San Fernando Valley.
Scenes were shot on Colonial Street, one of the backlot street sets as well as on Elm Street which is positioned just below Colonial Street and is often used for production work.
Eagle-eyed fans have suggested Devi’s yellow-exterior house in Sherman Oaks, California is a dead ringer for Susan Delfino’s (Teri Hatcher’s) house in the popular TV show Desperate Housewives.
