According to a press release from the lottery, a single ticket sold in California matched all six numbers in the Wednesday night drawing. The prize was worth an estimated $1.765 billion with a cash value of $774.1 million, the second largest in Powerball history.

The jackpot ended up being larger than advertised due to final ticket sales, Powerball said in the release.

The winner will be able to choose between an annuitized prize of $1.765 billion or a lump sum payment of $774.1 million. Both amounts are before taxes.

Two tickets sold in Arizona and Pennsylvania also matched all five white balls and increased the $1 million prize to $2 million with the Power Play feature.
