Lyceum of Wisdom Introduction
Summary
- Do your best to answer the questions, getting qualified for the next stages.
- The first stage, Preliminary, doesn’t have any limit timer so you can easily use Google to find the answers.
- Players can ask for help from Alliance members for choosing the correct answers.
- Correctly answer 6 or more questions in any single session of Preliminary for that week to qualify for the Midterm.
- Governors only need to pass one Midterm in a month to qualify for the Final Exam.
No one knew when it had begun. Every day scholars would teach here, attracting crowds that hunger for knowledge. This place, later known as the “Lyceum of Wisdom”, became an important hub of information, and allowed people to socialize and advance together.

The kingdom had decided to hold a contest at the Lyceum of Wisdom every month, where participants get to answer questions and put their knowledge to the test. This event is known as “Peerless Scholar”, and consists of three phases — the Preliminary exam, the Midterm exam, and the Final Exam.
Through this contest, Governors can learn all kinds of knowledge about the world, and earn a tremendous amount of rewards while at it.
Preliminary Stage
Start Time
During the event, from Monday to Friday 0:00 to 23:00 UTC, Governors can start answering Preliminary questions on their own.
From 23:00 to 0:00 (next day), the exams will undergo maintenance. Governors will not be able to start a session of Preliminary exam during this time, but they can finish answering questions they had already started prior to 23:00.
Participation Requirements: Your City Hall must reach Level 10, and have built a Lyceum of Wisdom.
How To Play
- Each Governor can participate in one Preliminary per day, which consists of 10 questions and with no time limit on these questions.
- Answering a question incorrectly will only affect the current question’s rewards and total rewards, Governors can continue to answer upcoming questions.
- You can send a question to the alliance chat channel and request your alliance mates to help. During a session of Preliminary exam, you have a total of three chances to request help.
Rewards
Governors who finish answering questions will earn rewards based on the total number of questions they answered correctly. Correctly answering 6 questions in total will qualify for that week’s Midterm, and correctly answering 9 questions in total will earn 1 Midterm Life Token. You can earn a maximum of 3 Midterm Life Tokens per week.
Midterm Stage
Start Time
During the event, there will be two Midterm sessions on Saturdays at 02:30, and at 12:30. Governors can only choose to participate in one session. If they had already started answering questions during a session, then they cannot participate again in another time slot.
Participation Requirements
- Correctly answer 6 or more questions in any single session of Preliminary for that week to qualify for the Midterm.
- Governors can enter and wait at the answering panel 5 minutes before the start of the Midterm, please be on time. If answering has already begun, then Governors can no longer enter the panel.
How To Play
- The Midterm consists of 15 multiple choice questions that are on a timer. Governors must complete the selection of answers within the time limit. Selecting an incorrect answer or not selecting an answer on time will both be viewed as the wrong answer. Once an answer is selected, it cannot be changed.
- Questions 1 – 5 are on a 15 second timer, questions 6 – 10 are on a 12 second timer, and questions 11 – 15 are on a 10 second timer.
- When Governors no longer have a Life Token to use up, answering incorrectly will be viewed as being disqualified. After being disqualified they will receive their total rewards, and will be unable to receive a share from the Gems pool.
- Through the Preliminary exam, Governors can earn Life Tokens that are usable for that week. Governors can earn a maximum of 1 per Preliminary, and can earn a maximum of 3 per week.
- While answering questions, answering incorrectly will automatically use up a Life Token. When this happens, that question will be viewed as correctly answered, and Governors are moved on to the next question.
- Midterm Life Tokens are only usable during the Midterm.
Rewards
- Governors who answered correctly 5, 10, or 15 questions in total will earn rewards. On the 10th or 15th correct answers, there will be an alliance reward.
- Governors who answered correctly 15 questions in total (using a Life Token still counts) will be eligible to a corresponding portion of massive the Gems pool, and will qualify for that month’s “Peerless Scholar” Final Exam.
Final Exam Stage
Start Time
During the event, the Final Exam will take place on the last Saturday of each month at 14:30 UTC.
Participation Requirements
- Governors only need to pass one Midterm in a month to qualify for the Final Exam.
- Governors can enter and wait at the answering panel 5 minutes before the start of the Final Exam, please be on time. If answering has already begun, then Governors can no longer enter the panel.
How To Play
- The Final Exam consists of 20 multiple choice questions that are on a timer. Governors must complete the selection of answers within the time limit. Selecting an incorrect answer or not selecting an answer on time will both be viewed as the wrong answer. Once an answer is selected, it cannot be changed.
- Questions 1 – 5 are on a 15 second timer, questions 6 – 10 are on a 12 second timer, and questions 11 – 20 are on a 10 second timer.
