Nantucket’s car ferry is booked months in advance, so planning is essential if you want to bring a vehicle. The Steamship Authority (car ferry) and Hy-Line Cruises (passenger ferry) are both based in Hyannis, Massachusetts. A SeaStreak ferry departs from New Bedford.
