How to Get Moonfinger?
The Moonfinger quest becomes available after completing the “An Organization Known as the Wangsheng” quest.
Moonfinger Quest Objectives
1) Go and Buy Noctilucous Jade
To commence your preparations for the Rite, Zhongli assigns you the task of purchasing some Noctilucous Jade. Head towards the designated waypoint and speak with Shitou, who has the required jade in stock. Instead of immediately buying a piece, Zhongli suggests obtaining samples to determine the best quality.
2) Look for the Meaty Tribe’s Giant Cooking Pot

To assess the samples, you’ll need to find a suitable location to heat and cool them. The Meaty Tribe’s giant cooking pot in Dadaupa Gorge serves this purpose perfectly. If you’ve unlocked the nearby domain or Teleport Waypoint, you can use them for faster access. Simply glide down towards the pot.
3) Defeat the Hilichurls
Upon reaching the giant pot, you’ll encounter Hilichurls in the area. Defeat them before proceeding. Once the area is clear, you can begin testing the Noctilucous Jade samples.
4) Use Pyro to Heat the Pot
Paimon will guide you on how to heat the pot. You’ll need a character with Pyro abilities to initiate the process. Be prepared, as enemies will try to disrupt your progress.
5) Defeat the Hilichurls
There are three temperature bars that need to be filled to test the Noctilucous Jade’s quality. After filling each bar, a group of Hilichurls will interrupt your procedure. Repeat the “Use Pyro to Heat the Pot” and “Defeat the Hilichurls” steps until all bars are filled.
6) Return to Liyue Harbor and Find Shitou

Once you’ve collected the samples, make your way back to Liyue Harbor and speak with Shitou again. Inform him of your decision to purchase the third Noctilucous Jade.
7) Put the Noctilucous Jade in Place
With the required item in hand, head over to Yujing Terrace to place the Noctilucous Jade at the designated spot for the Rite. Interact with the marked area, and a short cutscene will commence. Zhongli will further discuss the Rite of Passing and the location of the Exuvia.
