  4. Star Topology: In a star topology, each device is connected to a central hub. Communication between devices is only possible indirectly through the central hub.
  5. Hybrid Topology: A hybrid topology consists of two or more topologies combined. Combining topologies may incorporate features of Star, Ring, Bus, and Daisy-chain topologies. A dual-ring topology is used by most WANs, and networks connected to them are typically star topologies. One of the best examples of a hybrid topology is the Internet.
  6. Tree Topology: The topology consists of star networks that are connected via bus networks in a parent-child hierarchy. There are only one mutual connection between two connected nodes, as nodes branch out linearly from a root node.
