The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a terrible loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5. Baltimore was especially bad in the second half on offense, as QB Lamar Jackson turned the ball over twice.
The first half was okay, but the team imploded after halftime. Up 10-0, Jackson hit WR Nelson Agholor for a “should-be” touchdown, but he dropped it. From that point, the offense could not get anything going, and the defense just couldn’t hang on.

Right now, the Ravens’ offense is a mess. The passing game was not good — Jackson was only 22-of-38 for 236 yards and one interception. He did rush for 45 yards, but he also had a fumble there.

Baltimore just couldn’t stay on the field. They were 5-of-14 on third-down conversions. With all of these struggles on the offensive end, Hill was the only guy this week to score a touchdown. Despite the fact that he did find the end zone, he should still not be signed on your fantasy team.
Right now, other than TE Mark Andrews and Jackson, there isn’t another offensive Ravens player who should be in your lineup. WR Zay Flowers is the next closest, but that is it.

For Hill, there just isn’t enough upside for him to play. He has to score a touchdown to even make him a Flex guy. The most total yards he has had in a game this year is 53, and there’s not enough volume for him.
Even though Hill had a solid game, he is still the RB3 on the Ravens. RB Gus Edwards is going to get a majority of the carries, and Jackson is obviously going to get a lot of rushes, as well. When you are looking at bringing in a waiver wire running back, you’re looking for more than anything Hill can offer.
There are multiple other options at running back who would be a better waiver wire addition and plenty of guys who could find 15-18 touches a game.
The most carries that Hill has ever had in his career is 10, and that was in 2019. If this Ravens offense is going to get back on the right track, it will be because of other guys. Stay away from Hill for now, and go look at some higher-ceiling targets.
