Everyone dreams of being able to stay and enjoy Cinderella Castle. At Tokyo Disneyland they have an attraction called “Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall” that tells you the romantic and dreamy story of Cinderella! Even if you haven’t seen the film, the exhibit walks you through the storyline.

As you begin on the first floor of the castle, you feel as if you are inside a fortress. It’s simple and practical space helps the stone’s heaviness stand out.

Then you go upstairs to the second floor and notice immediately a huge difference in the decor. From a fortress to the most beautiful elegant space. The chandeliers might stand out to you the most like they do me.

The exhibit in the castle, showcases the story of Cinderella. Most people know the basic story of Cinderella, but probably have never thought about which glass slipper she lost, after her romantic evening with Prince Charming.

Do you know? Was it the right or left foot?

Thanks to Tokyo Disneyland having a glass slipper in Cinderella Castle, we can rest assured it is the left foot. The hall in Cinderella Castle has a display of Cinderella’s glass slipper-her right foot’s slipper, of course. This is because the left slipper, that she had left at the ball, shatters after Lady Tremaine trips the Grand Duke as he’s running to Cinderella for her to try it on.

However, Cinderella still had the right glass slipper in her pocket, proving she was, in fact, who Prince Charming had been searching the Kingdom for! The slipper shines in the hall for all guests visiting the castle to remember the romance and soak it all in for themselves.
