Kelsey ran for re-election for judge of the Florida 1st District Court of Appeal. She won in the retention election on November 8, 2022.

Judge Kelsey stood for retention in 2016 in order to remain on the bench.[1][2] She was retained to a six-year term that began in January 2017 and ends on January 2, 2023. She was retained again in the 2022 for a term starting in 2023 and ending in 2029.
