Linsey Davis is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who currently anchors ABC News Live Prime and World News Tonight on the weekends. She also works as a correspondent, writing reports for various television shows.
Davis started her career in 2001 as a reporter for the ABC-affiliated WJRT-TV. She eventually began working for WTHR-TV. There, she covered Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, the 2006 Winter Olympics from Turin, and the 2004 Summer Olympics from Athens.

Davis was born to Ronald Davis and Beverly Davis. Her parents both had careers as teachers. While her father taught math, her mother taught English.

They have been married for more than fifty years now. Davis’ father also started a construction company while her mother retired from teaching. She also has an older sister. The details about her sister are not yet known, though.
Her mother shared beautiful childhood pictures of her daughter, wishing her a birthday on Facebook in 2019.
Davis also often shares pictures of her parents and sister on her social media handles. She took to her Instagram wishing her mother, “Shouting Happy Mother’s Day to Beverly Davis with a little extra oomph this year.”

The couple was blessed with a son named Ayden on March 28, 2014, almost a year after his parents shared their wedding vows. On his seventh birthday, his mother took to Instagram to share a cute picture of him and captioned it, “My baby boy!”
