I’m a sith man, hear me out
The Sith were the heroes the whole time, all they really wanted was the galaxy to follow them I mean who wouldn’t want a galaxy under your control along with this what have the jedi always done keep peace no lies they don’t do anything but stay away from what could be peace in almost every Era if the jedi had gotten involved fully faster they could have helped so much more of course this is just looking from a surface view yet I do belive the sith and empire were the heroes. You could say the sith are evil and the darkside is bad but it actually isn’t its just the opposite of light It takes more than it gives opposite of light, it contains techniques that are what some consider inherently dark yet from my pov I consider only bad if used bad. Say deadly sight for an example imagine if a jedi were to fight a sith or a large army like Mace window on Dantioone but with people instead of droids. Is it really evil if the jedi were to mid fight use his sight to kill a group of soldiers, some would say no because he’s a jedi some say yes because it’s a dark technique overall I don’t think it’s bad at all just like not ever sith from my pov is bad or evil. If you ask Me a lot of sith are really just misunderstood and suffering from bad experiences that make them bitter and angry a lot of them can be or could have been cured and helped had someone been there.

EDIT: a good example is Anakin who while being Vader not only had immense depression and sadness but did feel bad for his prior actions even down to the end, he preformed thousands of heinous actions yet in the end a lot of fans consider him good and redeemed he was what I’d consider a hero but a good sith.

Another good example is the sith troopers from the old republic Era there are not many named troopers known among them but they are just normal everyday people who joined the sith army for their own reasons. Not all of them were bad guys or criminals but they were people among them who were bad.
Some may disagree with this but honestly this is just my outlook.
