Country superstar Loretta Lynn’s final days of life were bittersweet.
The singer has reportedly confessed many things on her deathbed, including her final regrets, as she started death bravely in the eye and refused to blink.

Radar Online reported that the singer lived her final days with joy and sad tears, that as her end approached, she revealed her deepest darkest secrets that she will not take to the grave with her.
This included her feelings for country singer Conway Twitty, why she was jealous of her best friend Dolly Parton, and how she blamed herself for her son Jack’s death.
An insider close to Loretta’s family revealed, “She was proud of her tremendous accomplishments but kept some never-voiced secret sorrows she needed to unburden before joining her lost loved ones on the other side.”
However, her “forbidden love” for Conway was the heaviest of them all.
Loretta Lynn married Oliver Doo Lynn for 20 years when she met Conway in 1968. Her husband’s alcoholism and infidelity pushed her close to Conway as they started recording several number-one duets, including their classic “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.”

The pair became country music’s leading duo, and their chemistry made fans think they were married – almost as close to being lovers.
The unnamed friend added, “Conway gave Loretta a shoulder to cry on, even though he was married too.”
Before Loretta Lynn’s death on October 4, 2022, at her Tennessee Ranch, she confessed that she and Conway “deeply loved each other,” and she was tempted to enter into an affair as payback because of her husband.
It was also revealed that Conway was there for Loretta when she found out about her husband cheating, despite Conway being married.

Meanwhile, it was also explained what she thought of Dolly Parton.
“She saw Dolly striving for a career as an actress, crossing over from county to pop music. Loretta wanted that, too, but her acting career began and ended with a TV guest role on ‘The Love Boat.'”

“And producers told Loretta her voice was too country for pop.”
Insiders revealed, however, that Loretta Lynn’s biggest regret in life was ignoring her mom Clary’s warning about buying her massive ranch with Doo in 1966.
She was warned to pack the family up and get out of there because the mother felt the grounds were haunted, and if Loretta didn’t move, “one of her children would drown there.”
This certainly happened because her oldest son, Jack, drowned while trying to cross the ranch’s river on horseback in 1984.
She also lost Doo in 1996 and her eldest daughter Betty Sue in 2013.
But before Loretta’s final inhale, she confessed to believing that her home was “cursed.”
