Baseball lives in the blood of Andruw Jones and his family. A five-time All-Star, Jones was one of the top outfielders in his prime and is arguably the greatest defensive fielder of all time.
While Andruw is a star in his own right, his son, Druw, has all the makings of forging his own All-Star MLB career. The outfielder from Atlanta, Georgia, was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks with the second overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft.

Druw is the son of Nicole and Andruw Jones and was born on November 28th, 2003, in Atlanta. His mother Nicole Derick Jones, who was born on January 10th, 1977, in Marietta, Georgia, has been married since 2002 when Andruw Jones was 25 years old with the Atlanta Braves.
While their marriage has had its share of ups and downs, the couple have stuck together through thick and thin. Even after multiple allegations, fights, and calls to the police, the couple remains together to this day.
Following a fight on Christmas in 2012, Nicole filed for divorce, citing that their marriage was “irretrievably broken.” She had asked for joint legal and primary custody of their son and also wanted child support, alimony, and half of the couple’s property.
However, after everything that has occurred in the last 20 years, the couple appears to be stronger than ever, or at least have come to terms with the past. While Nicole’s educational history and career remain private, according to her Instagram stories, she has worked as a fashion designer.

Nicole has been essential in raising the couple’s three children (two sons, Druw and Andrean Jones, as well as a daughter, Madison Jones). She is also the stepmother to Andruw’s son Joshua, born in 2005, from his extra-marital affair with Mélissa Vaillancourt.

Jones finished his 17-year career in the MLB with 434 home runs, 1289 RBIs, and a career WAR (wins above replacement) of 62.7. He also stole 152 bases, recorded 1,933 hits, and maintained a .254 batting average. He should find himself inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Known as a defensive juggernaut, Andruw Jones also won 10 Gold Glove Awards throughout his career, winning all 10 of those awards in consecutive years from 1998-2007.
