Who Is Announcing The Eagles Game Today

The Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers play on Monday Night Football as Wild Card Weekend wraps up. The Eagles enter the playoffs after losing five of the last six games of the regular season. The Buccaneers won five of the last six games to win the NFC South for the third straight year. The two teams played in Week 3, with the Eagles picking up the road win.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, 15 minutes earlier than Monday Night Football during the regular season. The traditional broadcast can be seen on ABC and ESPN, with Peyton and Eli Manning hosting the ManningCast on ESPN2.

Who Are the Buccaneers-Eagles Announcers?

Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters, and Laura Rutledge will have the broadcast on ABC and ESPN. Buck and Aikman are finishing their 22nd season together in a broadcast booth — a record-breaking season after surpassing the legendary pair of Pat Summerall and John Madden.

Buck, who started his broadcasting career in minor league baseball, called 24 World Series and 22 MLB All-Star games while at FOX. His father, Jack, called Monday Night Football on the radio from 1978-1984 and 1987-1995.

Aikman was the first overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft out of UCLA by the Dallas Cowboys. He was named to six Pro Bowls in 12 seasons as the Cowboys starting quarterback from 1989 to 2000.

Aikman was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008.

Salters, who joined ESPN in 2000, has been the MNF sideline reporter since 2012. She is also a sideline reporter during the NBA season for ABC and ESPN. Salters worked for ABC News from 1995 to 2000 before joining ESPN.

Rutledge, who will be providing reports from the sidelines, has hosted NFL Live on ESPN since 2020. She joined ESPN as an SEC Network reporter in 2014. Rutledge is also the host of SEC Nation, the SEC-centric Saturday morning football preview show.

ESPN will have a Divisional Round game this season for the first time in the network’s history.

Additionally, following the 2026 and 2030 seasons, ESPN and ABC will air the Super Bowl.

Troy Aikman’s Playoff Career

Aikman was a key member of the Cowboys’ dynasty when Dallas became the first franchise to win three Super Bowls in four seasons. He started in 15 of the 16 postseason games he played, and Dallas was 11-4 when he started.

Aikman had a 63.7% completion rate with 23 touchdowns and 17 interceptions in the postseason.

In Aikman’s first Super Bowl, he was named MVP after completing 22 of 30 passes for 273 yards and four touchdowns in the Cowboys’ 52-17 win against the Buffalo Bills. He had 17 touchdowns and four interceptions in the three postseasons in which Dallas won the Super Bowl.
