The singer was born as Christopher Alan Young on June 12, 1985 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States. He attended Belmont University in Nashville and later went to Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro.
Chris’s grandfather, Richard Yates, was an entertainer who was popular in Louisiana Hayride. To follow in his grandfather’s footsteps, Chris showed an interest in music at a tender age and started performing in different theater productions.
