When it comes to finding love, YouTube star David Dobrik has been romantically linked to a few famous faces. He was in a long-term public relationship with fellow YouTube star Liza Koshy from 2015 to 2018, but has kept his love life out of the public eye since then.
“Someone that’s self aware, that’s what’s most important to me. I don’t need someone to be a stand up comic, but the coolest thing about a girl to me is when someone makes a joke and the joke falls flat but they have a way to climb out of that joke falling flat,” David told Entertainment Tonight in August 2020 about what he’s looking for in a partner. “It’s so important to me. That moment to me is like, ‘OK, this person knows how to read a room,’ and that’s what’s important to me.”

Most recently, the internet personality sparked romance rumors with Sabrina Carpenter. DeuxMoi hinted at a possible romance between the two in February 2023, with an anonymous post claiming they were in London together. Then, in August 2023, the duo were spotted together at Lollapalooza in Chicago in August 2023, according to an eyewitness report published by Page Six. However, neither of them have publicly spoken about the rumors.

David has kept his relationships under wraps. Previously, he was romantically linked to model Charlotte D’Alessio after the pair got cozy in his October 2020 perfume ad. “We made this video for this perfume, it was basically like we were on a date,” he explained to Access at the time. “I called Charlotte and said is this real, are we in a relationship? … No we’re not dating. I’m still single.”
Following the romantic ad, David joked with Us Weekly, saying that he texted the model about the dating rumors between them.
“I was excited to know I had a girlfriend. I had to text Charlotte [to] make sure that it was true. And she said it was not true, in fact, that it was just rumors,” he quipped. “So no, we’re not dating. I really, really like her. And I think she likes me, but we’re not there.”

Freshman year she asked me to a dance, but I actually had a little bit of a crush on her,” he confessed to Delish in November 2019. “[Talking to Natalie] When you asked me to the dance freshman year — this is so embarrassing, it’s obviously a lot different now — I was trying to tell you how pretty you looked in your dress the day afterwards. But I was so scared of doing it, I never did it, and I’m so happy I never did. It would have made things really, really, really awkward. You would have thrown up probably. You would have thrown up on my face.”

“It wasn’t healthy for us to continue to be together,” David said in their since-deleted breakup announcement video. “Liza broke up with me because she felt like we’ve been distant because we’ve been so busy. As much as I hate to admit it, I was feeling it on my side too.”
She added, “We felt like we were living separate lives but neither of us was coming to terms with it. So, I decided we should break up. We didn’t want to tell anybody because we were just so angry at the fact we distanced in the first place. We did nothing to each other to cause a break up.
