Helen Hunt and her longtime pal Jeffrey Nordling were seen on a leisurely stroll through her picturesque Santa Monica neighborhood with her dogs on Thursday afternoon.
While walking down the sidewalk together, the Academy Award winner, 59, and 61-year-old Big Little Lies star, who previously starred in the 1988 film Shooter together, chatted away as they enjoyed the sunshine after several cold and rainy days in Southern California.

For their laid-back outing, the Girls Just Want to Have Fun actress cut a casual figure in a cozy black long sleeve, matching drawstring sweatpants, small retro shades, a long silver pendant and grey UGG boots.
The mother-of-one held onto the leash of her beloved black and white pup, Eddie, as Nordling walked her other pooch, Emma.
He opted to rock a lightweight heather grey hoodie, dark-wash jeans and sneakers with bright blue shoelaces.

Later, the friends attended a screening of The Waterdance and River’s Edge at The Aero, which included a Q&A with filmmakers Michael Steinberg and Tim Hunter as well as Hunt.
Film producers Sarah Pillsbury and Midge Sanford were present to deliver a special introduction at the tribute to filmmaker Neal Jimenez.
On Friday morning, Hunt posted a photo of herself outside the independent cinema with Steinberg, 63.
‘What a beautiful night. To honor #neiljimenez in that way, to see his work and hear from @cine_fix how prolific he was and to be reminded how beautiful #TheWaterdance and #River’sEdge are,’ she captioned the image.
She also reposted a few snaps that Nordling took of her on stage with Steinberg and footage of the bustling crowd inside before the panel began.

Nordling is married to actress Francia Dimase, who is the mother of his twin daughters Eloise and Miranda, both 27, and 20-year-old Iris.
Meanwhile, Helen shares her 18-year-old daughter Makena Lei Gordon with ex Matthew Carnahan.
Hunt got her start in show business as a TV actress, appearing as a guest star on shows like The Bionic Woman with Lindsay Wagner and Swiss Family Robinson.
She then moved on to Mad About You which aired from 1992 until 1999. The show gave her enormous popularity and Emmy awards.
Nordling is best known for his roles as Gordon Klein in Big Little Lies and Nick Bolen in Desperate Housewives.
He’s also starred on Body of Proof as the ex-husband of Dana Delany’s character and on FX’s series Dirt, alongside Courteney Cox.
