Who Is In The New Bmw Commercial

Christopher Walken was spotted on the set of a new BMW commercial, teaming up with an unlikely co-star: R&B singer Usher.

The 80-year-old Oscar-winning actor was spotted on the set with the 45-year-old eight-time Grammy-winning singer on Thursday.

The sighting comes a month after it was revealed that Usher will be taking no pay for performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in February.

Ironically, giving the timing of the filming, it’s possible that this will be a commercial that airs during the Super Bowl as well, though that has not been confirmed.

There are also rumors that Walken is directing the ad himself as well, though those have also not been confirmed.

Walken was spotted wearing a black button-down shirt with white palm trees over a black zip-up sweater.

He also donned black pants and matching black shoes for his day on the commercial set.

Usher, conversely, was decked out in all grey, with a grey top over a matching grey jacket and even a pair of grey gloves.

He accessorized with a pair of necklaces and a number of snowflake brooches pinned to his lapel.

The singer was also holding a pair of grey glasses while completing his look with a pair of grey sneakers with white soles.

Usher’s oldest son Cinco, who recently celebrated his 16th birthday, was also spotted on the commercial set.

It isn’t believed that Walken and Usher have worked together in the past, though they both were photographed back in 2016 at Robert De Niro’s birthday party.

If Walken is directing it wouldn’t be the first time he had stepped behind the camera, previously writing and directing the 2001 short film Popcorn Shrimp starring Ralph Macchio and Master P.

Usher is coming off his 100-show My Way residency in Las Vegas, as he now turns his attention to the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

It was reported that Usher was far from the first choice to perform at the big game, though Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and Lizzo all reportedly turned down offers from the NFL.

While Usher reportedly won’t be receiving a paycheck for his performance, he could cash in still through the performance.

Other halftime performers had seen their streaming numbers soar after the show, with Jennifer Lopez’s streams leaping 330% after her 2020 performance with Shakira.
