Meet Eric Schroeder, Sukanya Krishnan Husband

Born in India, Sukanya grew up on Staten Island, the United States. In 1993, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Dickinson College.

Sukanya first shot into the limelight after winning her first Emmy for On-Camera Achievement from the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). The news anchor has anchored for the PIX Morning News on WPIX, where she originally on August 8, 2001, with Scott Stanford.

Sister Wives One-on-One Part 1 host was the morning news anchor on Good Day Wake Upon Fox 5 NY WNYW in New York City from 2017-2019 along with Jennifer Lahmers. In 2020, she hosted the TLC show Find Love Live. The next year, Sukanya hosted 90 Day Fiancé: Love Games, a dating and relationships show on the Discovery+ streaming service.

On September 22, 2019, she shared a picture of herself swimming with her kids on her Instagram with the caption “Do you remember the 21st night of September? Hope you are enjoying.”

Sukanya and Eric’s first child, Kiran, was born in July 2009. As Sukanya shared on her Facebook, they had a Pokemon-themed cake for Kiran’s 6th birthday.

Eric was promoted from Captain to Battalion Chief in 2019. During the promotion ceremony, FDNY Battalion Chief Eric said, “The other officers that I’ve worked with and another firefighter I’ve worked with over the past have been a big influence on me and I pretty much owe that to them; and hard work and dedication.”
