Kate Mansi is starring in new super bowl ad. Spectrum made its first Super Bowl commercial in six years, targeting the spotty coverage and service flaws of cell phone internet providers. The ad, created by Something Different agency, features soap star Kate Mansi, and aired in more than two dozen Spectrum markets, including New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Kansas City during the Super Bowl LVIII game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.
The witty 30-second ad, titled “Holes,” highlights the speed and reliability of Spectrum Internet. It shows a family that has smashed a hole in their living room wall to get better internet signal. “Turns out the walls were getting in the way,” Dad (Chad Crone) says as Mom (Mansi) arrives home.

The caption for the newly released commercial states, “Don’t settle for T-Mobile Cell Phone Internet. Get faster, more reliable internet speeds with Spectrum.”
Of course, this ain’t the first time Kate Mansi has popped up in an ad. She’s also pretty famous for her Emmy Award-winning gig as Abigail Deveraux DiMera on Days of our Lives. Right now, she’s killing it on General Hospital playing the part of Kristina Corinthos.

Mansi is not the only soap opera celebrity to be featured in this season’s Super Bowl advertisements. Personalities such as Cary Christopher (known for his role as Thomas DiMera in Days of Our Lives), Patrika Darbo (recognized for portraying Nancy in Days of Our Lives), and others can be seen in these promotional ads. Furthermore, Joshua Morrow (Nick in The Young and the Restless), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis in The Young and the Restless), Scott Clifton (Liam in The Bold and the Beautiful), and Don Diamont (Bill in The Bold and the Beautiful) are among the CBS soap opera actors who appeared in advertisements endorsing the Super Bowl.
