AEW star Toni Storm has confirmed that she is married, sharing details of her low-key wedding with a current New Japan wrestling star.

Toni Storm left WWE under a cloud in December 2021, flying herself home from a house show and almost immediately being released from her WWE deal. The release came when WWE had made budget cuts to their roster for the best part of two years but with stars like Mustafa Ali, and more recently, Sasha Banks and Naomi publicly walking out or announcing their intentions to leave WWE and not being able to, many were surprised at Storm’s sudden departure.

But while Toni Storm’s professional life took a turn, so to did her personal life as she revealed to Renee Paquette on The Sessions. Storm revealed that she used the time she had at home well, marrying New Japan Pro Wrestling star Juice Robinson in a somewhat impromptu ceremony:

“After I quit WWE I went really quiet for a bit and it was obviously a weird time, so we were just like should we just get married? Things are already kind of strange right now so we should probably just get married so we did. We were gonna have a big wedding then we made a guest list and were like ‘it’s so much work’ let’s just get married.”

“Walking down the aisle to music in a costume is what I do for a living and I do not need my mother and everyone around watching me do that awkward sh*t. […] We did it at like 10 ‘o’clock in the morning and we were like giggling, we were having a great time. You don’t even need to have witnesses in Florida so we went down to the county clerk and we left the marriage license in the car and that was hilarious then we queued up to get married.”

“We were doing our vows next to the filing cabinet and then after that, we just hung out for the day in our house with our dog and just had the best day ever because it was just us, and it’s never just us.”
