I charge a base $250 forwarding fee + shipping costs to your country. This is simply a forwarding service. I am not responsible for the authenticity/condition/safety of the item. I will re-pack it securely and mail it to wherever you want it to go insured via UPS.

Keep in mind – On International forwardings, your country will charge you import duties and taxes based on the value of the goods. You can contact your local customs agency to learn how much this might be. Typically it is between 5-30% of the item’s value.

If you still wish to continue – there are two options. You can buy the guitar with your credit card and have them ship it to me for forwarding (this will likely trigger USA sales tax.) Another option is, you can forward me the money via PayPal and I can buy it. This will save the sales tax if the item is listed on Reverb or Sweetwater‘s website, but many medium/large-sized independent shops may still have to charge it.

You will also have to cover the PayPal fee (The international fee is 5.5%) to make sure I get enough money to purchase the item for you. You can also opt to use Paypal Gift / Friends + Family Style to save on this fee if you feel comfortable and it is available.

USA buyers trying to purchase items from Japan – contact me first as I can only help in certain situations and the fee structure is a little bit different for importing. The only other time I can assist USA buyers with an international shipment is if the seller is already open to shipping internationally and you just want someone experienced with customs to assist you.
This could also work if you want me to act as a safe “middleman” for a guitar trade between two strangers on the internet (would require each of you to purchase a forwarding service.)
