Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert have been officially divorced for over a year and Braxton insists they are not rekindling their romance. An 18-year-old woman has come forward alleging she’s been in a relationship with Herbert, leaving Braxton to respond publicly while throwing her famous shade along the way.

Herbert and Braxton split in 2017 with their divorce being finalized nearly two years later. Braxton dated businessman David Adefeso following her slit from Herbert. With the exception of rumors that Basketball Wives star Laura Govan contributed to his split with Braxton, Herbert hasn’t been linked to anyone.

But now an 18-year-old woman named Jamie Taylor is claiming to have been in a relationship with Herbert for the past year. Initially, Taylor would not name Herbert, until an Instagram live between herself and popular personality Akbar confirmed such thanks to Akbar naming Herbert.

According to Taylor, she began dating Herbert when he was fresh off of his divorce from Braxton. Things began to change when Herbert allegedly told her he wanted to reconcile with Braxton.

Per Madame Noire, Taylor accuses Herbert of toying with her emotions. He was like, ‘You gon always be my boo but I’m trying to work it out with my baby momma.’ But here’s the thing: I can’t have anybody over to my house [because of Vince]. I can’t do none [sic] of that. What you think I should do? I always feel like I’m put last.”
Akbar advised Taylor to move on as Herbert clearly wants Braxton back. Taylor alleges she and Herbert remain in an on-again-off-again relationship.

Since Braxton’s split from Adefeso, she’s been focused on bettering her mental health through intense therapy and getting her career back on track outside of reality television. But Braxton is apparently bothered by Taylor’s constant mention of Herbert, especially after Taylor went live and mentioned Herbert and Braxton’s son.
Amid rumors that Herbert and Braxton were dating, Braxton took to Twitter to dispel rumors that she and Herbert were reconciling and threw shots at Taylor by insinuating that Herbert denied he was seeing her. Braxton alleges Herbert has been introducing another woman, and not Taylor, to his inner circle.
“At least you know what it REALLY is. Seems like half the world is listening to some online girl,” she wrote in a Tweet captured by Gossip in the City. “[eyeroll emoji] when the REAL TEA is she was never THE girl!! He claimed a whole nother girl to all of us. My cousin Vince is a trip. He’s the LAST man I’ll be back with. [throwing up emoji] #dontblameme.”

Taylor responded to Braxton’s Tweet, saying that both she and Herbert’s alleged other woman were all aware of one another. But the drama didn’t stop there.
In an apparent effort to prove her relationship with Herbert, Taylor posted a photo of a FaceTime screenshot between her and Herbert. Braxton once again responded, claiming Taylor wanted attention.
“Sis I don’t know…I’m over here under construction, SINGLE, working on myself & making life great for me and my son. [prayer hands emoji],” she wrote in a Tweet. “At this point, baby girl wants attention so ima pray for her, my cousin Vince and his girlfriend Angie.”
Herbert has not responded to any of the claims or back and forth between Braxton and Taylor.
