Who Makes Champion Tillers

Description

The Champion Power Equipment 100380 19-Inch Rear Tine Tiller is designed to be the workhorse behind your gardening passion. The perfect combination of power and performance, this machine will tame the toughest gardens for years to come.

The 212cc engine powers a cast iron, gear-driven transmission housed in a heavy-duty cast-iron case. The transfer of power from the engine to the wheels enables this tiller to perform perfectly while tackling your largest landscaping and gardening jobs.

This indispensable machine features convenient handle controls and counter-rotation tilling, offering you the ultimate in versatility and performance. Even the most challenging ground is no match for the four 13.8-inch hardened steel tines and their efficient bidirectional shredding design.

The 19-inch tilling width and up to 8-inch tilling depth help you tackle large plots of ground with the least amount of effort, helping you move from tilling to planting as quickly as possible.

The large treads on the 13-inch self-propelled agricultural tires provide excellent traction, and since they are self-propelled, you only need to guide the tiller while it muscles through tough terrain.

The easy-adjust depth gauge runs behind the tiller, allowing you work at a consistent depth and providing additional balance in different conditions.

How to Choose

Standard Rotating Tines (SRT)

Standard rotating tine tillers see the tines rotate forward “pulling” the tiller forward. This feature can be used with or without self-propelled wheels.

Dual Rotating Tines (DRT)

Dual rotating tine tillers very widely depending upon the specific type of tiller being discussed, the Champion DRT tiller see the tines rotate forward under standard operation but can also rotate in reverse for short periods of non-tilling activity (e.g. moving the tiller out of a difficult location).

Counter Rotating Tines (CRT)

Counter rotating tine tillers see the tines rotate “counter” or opposite the direction the self-propelled wheels are turning. If the wheels are moving forward the tines are rotating backward, if the wheels are moving backward the tines are rotating forward.
