Who Makes Cuties Diapers

Our Experience with Cuties Diapers

I tested the Complete Care Cuties Diapers in Size 5 for my one-year-old, who is extremely active and essentially spends her days finding ways to make my hair turn gray.

Case in point: this morning, while I was on a work call, she decided to “paint” the walls of my bathroom with the toilet paper—after dipping it in the toilet so it would stick more effectively, of course. #Momlife, am I right? Needless to say, a diaper that can keep up with her is a tall order, so I was actually incredibly impressed with these features of the Cuties diapers:

Slim fit

My very first impression of Cuties diapers was how incredibly thin they were. They were just about the same thinness as Pampers, which I really appreciate in a diaper. It has to be comfy for my toddler to tolerate it.

Stay-fit properties

With a toddler who is determined to squeeze the most excitement (read: trouble) out of every possible minute of the day, I need a diaper that can withstand a lot of movement, crib escapes, toilet exploration (why tho?), and mad dashes to the dog’s water bowl, where she loves to play second best to the toilet.

I’ve gone through a lot of diaper brands and have had issues in the past with diapers not holding in dirty diapers, or it going up the back, or leaking down the sides. So I was incredibly impressed by the fact that these diapers stayed put—and in a very comfortable, stretchy way for my baby. They were able to move with her, but not move so far that they let leaks happen.

Absorbency

Cuties diapers definitely blew me away with how absorbent they were. I will say that while they seemed to swell a bit more than a traditional diaper like Pampers, they held up extremely well without leaking. I did notice that I had to change the diaper a little more frequently than I would have with the Pampers, just because it did swell up larger, but there were no other issues other than that it was a bit bulkier for my daughter.

Would I Recommend Cuties Diapers?

I would absolutely recommend Cuties diapers to any parent looking for a diaper with sustainability-sourced materials and some natural components. That being said, however, I would recommend that you might want to consider using the diapers only for daytime use—we did experience two leaks when our daughter wore them overnight.

Every baby is different, of course, but for us, our daughter just seemed to wet through them at overnight, so using them during the daytime made much more sense. For daytime use, though, I had a great experience using Cuties diapers. And for the price, they are definitely worth a try if you want to feel a little less guilty looking at your looming diaper pail. Ahem.
