Who Makes Everlife Flooring

MSI successfully launched Everlife, a comprehensive line of Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT). The company introduced five natural wood look collections in two versatile lines, Waterproof Rigid Core and Dryback Flexible Gluedown.

Across 28 distribution centers in North America, the massive scale product launch gives MSI trade partners access to the most compelling looks in the flooring industry. The launch of Everlife enables retailers to partner with one company for all their floor, wall, countertop, and hardscape needs. Everlife is backed by warranty and FloorScore and GreenGuard Gold certification.

“Everlife is constructed of the hardest working materials in the flooring industry,” said Sam Kim, vice president of MSI. “But it’s Everlife’s on-trend designs and the latest technology that sets it apart from other LVT. The line’s imaging is so detailed that you can’t tell it apart from authentic hardwoods. Just as important, Everlife’s true-to-life textures pass the look and feel test.”

The company’s Rigid Core collections, Cyrus and Prescott, are 100% waterproof 7×48 in. rigid core flooring with pre-attached IXPE underlayment, which are suitable for all interior locations of the home. “Our Waterproof Rigid Core collection’s Uniclic system with pre-attached underlayment make installation fast, easy, and affordable,“ Kim added.

Everlife, designed for both residential and commercial installations, also includes Katavia, Glenridge, and Wilmont Dryback Flexible Gluedown collections featuring 6×48 in. and 7×48 in. planks. The Everlife collection also includes coordinating trims.

“There’s a lot of buzz around Everlife because its up-to-the-minute color and style trends appeal to a broad range of demographics,” said Emily Holle, director of trend and design. “Gorgeous grays and greige-infused blondes top the modern end of the LVT colorway. For the classics, rich browns reflect a move away from excessive drama towards a simpler aesthetic.” The result is a more natural representation of wood tones, saw marks, and grains. Retailers can expect styles with organic-looking movement and fewer knot holes.

“There’s still drama in the mix,” Holle added. “Reclaimed wood looks, for example, make a bold statement with solid tones and heavy blends of color, but they’re a bit more sophisticated than years past.”

Alan Smith, director of LVT product development, added, “The line combines beautiful aesthetics and affordability, which opens the door to more families who in the past could only afford laminate flooring or carpet. Consumers can rely upon our Luxury Vinyl Tiles while bringing home trends once beyond their budgets. When you factor in full warranties, and realistic wood looks the likes of which we haven’t seen before, the collection is expected to provide record growth for MSI’s trade partners.”
