I have to disagree with above posters. I got almost all of my faucets and two cast iron bath tubs from Signature Hardware in 2008 and I couldn’t be happier.
I ordered faucets for five bathroom vanities, a kitchen sink faucet, a butler pantry sink faucet, a TV room sink faucet, and two bathtub faucets – including a freestanding English Telephone style faucet for my clawfoot tub. Every single piece I got was very heavy (clearly solid brass) and very very well made. All have been in use now for 4 years and so far I haven’t had a single problem with any of it. The plumber who installed them commented that “these must be really expensive.”

The only faucet in my house that didn’t come from Signature Hardware is in my laundry room…and that’s only because I somehow managed to totally forget to order that one and wound up having to pick something from the local plumbing supply house at the last minute. The laundry room faucet cost me well over twice as much as my kitchen faucet and it is clearly not nearly as well made even though it is a “brand” name. I can FEEL how much lighter and thinner the metal is every single time I rotate the spout from one sink to the other. It just feels flimsier! If it were anywhere except the laundry room where no one but me ever sees it or ever uses it, I would replace it in a heartbeat with one from Signature Hardware.

Plus, I found the folks at Signature Hardware to be very very easy to work with. Despite the shipment being very well packed, UPS still managed to crush the outer box completely. This resulted in the water spout for one of my bathtubs ending up with a very small scratch. I contacted Signature Hardware about it and they asked me to email them a picture showing the scratch. I did and they sent me a replacement part at no charge. Told me not to bother sending the scratched part back as it was of no use to them.
I just looked up the email thread I had with Signature faucet to make sure I was remembering the details right. I placed my faucet order on 10/29/08. The order arrived on 11/5/08… yes, ONE WEEK from order to deliver! I unpacked everything and called them the next morning about the scratched piece. Spoke with a lady named Jean F. who asked me to email her a photo of the scratched piece. I emailed the requested photo that same afternoon. Jean F. emailed me back within 10 minutes saying that that they would ship me a replacement tub spout as soon as they could get one in. She then stayed in touch with me over the next two weeks to keep me updated (literally, an email every couple of days!) and on 11/20/08 emailed me that the replacement was on its way by express delivery. I got it on 11/22/08.
