Who Makes The Cricket Dream 5g

If you’re in the market for a new phone, you might be wondering if the Cricket Dream 5G is worth it. To find out the right answer for you, we’re going to be taking a look at the Cricket dream 5g and going over everything you need to know about this phone to help you decide if it’s the right one for you.

Display

In the terms of display, the cricket dream 5g is not very luxurious, but I do believe the phone itself looks pretty great. It has a 6.82-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720p, a PPI of 263, and an aspect ratio of 20.5.9. We got a water drop notch for the front-facing camera and this camera is 13 megapixels.

Even though the display only has 720p resolution, it still looks pretty good, and at 6.82 inches, you’re getting a much larger screen. So if you’re doing some kind of content consumption like streaming videos or viewing photos or even playing a game it’s gonna look a lot nicer on this display. Because everything will appear much larger.

Internal Storage

The cricket dream 5g has 64 gigabytes of internal storage with microSD card expansion. You can do better if you really want to have the most storage possible, it’s not bad either. I’ve seen phones in this price range with as few as 32 gigabytes, so it’s not too bad. It’s really right in the middle. If storage is your top priority, you might want to consider finding a device with 128 gigabytes because even in this price range they do exist. But if you’re not a heavy user and only intend to use the phone for routine everyday tasks, 64 gigabytes should be sufficient, especially since microSD cards are available.

Wireless Charging

The cricket dream 5g has wireless charging, which is a really cool feature that isn’t too common in phones that aren’t flagship phones. I’m not sure about the wattage because I couldn’t find that information, but I will say that it charges fairly quickly on a wireless charger and very few phones that aren’t flagship phones have this feature. So I really feel like it should be a more common feature. It’s really wonderful to see that an entry-level phone like this actually offers wireless charging.

Security Features

We do have a fingerprint scanner on the back, but unfortunately, there is no face unlock. If you generally prefer face unlock or if you prefer to have both options, you’re likely going to be disappointed with this phone because it lacks the face unlock. I’ve seen lots of phones in this price range with both a fingerprint scanner and face unlock, so it’s a little strange to see this as well. Although we don’t have face unlock, the fingerprint scanner is quick and responsive and has no issues, so you’ll still have the choice to use it instead of entering a pin or password.

Rear Camera

This phone has pretty much every camera feature you could want in a non-flagship phone, including a quad camera setup with a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing camera for portrait mode. For video, both the rear and front cameras can shoot 1080p videos, so there isn’t any 4K support, but this is a very entry-level phone, so that’s acceptable. I have attached some pictures below to give you an idea of what this camera can do.

Camera Sample

This is a picture taken with the main camera, and as you can see, it looks really nice. The lighting isn’t the best, but it was a really cloudy day so what can you really expect? The colors do look pretty decent, I’ve seen better photos than this one, but for an entry-level phone like this, it’s really not bad at all. I’m impressed.

Again, considering that this is just an entry-level phone, the portrait mode in this picture looks really good and professional. As you can see, there is a small amount of distortion in the background that doesn’t appear to be properly blurred, but other than that, it does look like a nice picture, and the lighting is excellent as usual. This camera should work well in portrait mode if you’re taking pictures of yourself.

Cricket Dream 5g Ultrawide camera sample

Now that this image was captured using the ultra-wide camera, it is definitely good quality, especially for a phone in this price range. It is decently wide—I have seen wider—but at the same time, there is no edge distortion, and it looks just as good as the image captured using the main camera, so I really have no complaints.

Macro Camera Samples

Now that this picture was taken with a macro lens, I’m personally not a big user of the macro camera in general but at the same time, I can’t appreciate the details in this photo. While it isn’t the best picture I’ve ever seen, it is definitely usable.

As you can see, the photos taken with this phone are actually quite good. Therefore, if you’re looking for an entry-level phone that takes photos of high quality and has a lot of features, then this phone is definitely a good option

Processor and Geekbench scores

Internally, this phone is getting four gigabytes of ram along with the MediaTek Demensity 700 processor. I ran a Geekbench 5 benchmark test on the phone. The result came back with a single-core score of 545 and a multi-core score of 16.66 so this is really impressive. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a phone in this price range with this kind of processing power unless it’s something like a used flagship phone in which case it’s a completely different story.

However, this phone will definitely be at the top of its price range when it comes to new models. It is equivalent to models that cost at least 100 more, such as the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, and is even on par with other mid-range 5G phones. There aren’t going to be many things that you can’t do with this phone, even if it’s more of an entry-level phone in terms of the price range. You can play all kinds of games on it, even high-end ones like Fortnite or similar games, as long as you set the graphics to a lower setting. And if you’re doing video editing or something similar, as long as the files aren’t too large and you don’t push the processor too hard, it should be completely fine.

Of course, for regular daily activities like browsing the web, using social media, and that sort of thing, the phone is going to be faster than pretty much any other brand-new phone you’ll find in this price range.

Battery

This phone also has a decently large battery at 4 700 milliamp hours not quite 5 000 as I would prefer. However, it’s not a small battery by any means, so if you plan to use your phone frequently throughout the day, this phone will be a good choice because it won’t drain as quickly as phones with smaller batteries. In addition, having a large battery like this in the future will be very beneficial because as batteries age, larger ones don’t run out as quickly as smaller ones, so if you like to get new phones, this is the one to get.

NFC

This phone also has another unique feature NFC. For those of you who are unfamiliar with NFC, NFC (Near Field Communication) is a technology that allows devices to communicate with each other when they are close together. NFC devices can be used to exchange information, make payments, and connect to other devices such as printers and laptops. NFC is similar to Bluetooth, but it has a shorter range and requires less power. This phone is a wonderful option if you want to utilize contactless mobile payment services like google pay because it genuinely has NFC, whereas most phones in this price range aren’t likely to have it

Conclusion

The Cricket Dream 5G is a great option for those looking for a quality phone on a budget. This is one of the most powerful entry-level phones I’ve seen in terms of processing power, and the fact that you can get a 5g phone for this price is extremely impressive. The 6.82-inch display is bright and clear, and the camera is also impressive. Overall, the Cricket Dream 5G is an excellent choice for those looking for a budget-friendly phone with a lot to offer.
