The business of the Fiskars Group is founded on responsible operations that follow the company’s values, where respect for the nature and the environment play a central role. Fiskars also requires all of its suppliers to follow national laws and pursue continuous efforts to reduce their environmental impact. Our product designs are timeless and intended for long-term use. Production

Iittala products are manufactured at production sites in Finland belonging to Fiskars Group, and by contracted manufacturers in Europe and Asia.

Majority of Iittala glass items are produced in Iittala glass factory in Finland. Ceramic items are manufactured in Thailand and Romania. For other materials we have contracted manufactures in eg. China, Vietnam, Baltic countries and in Finland.

We use contracted manufacturers in order to guarantee an interesting, versatile and competitive range for the consumer, even when we ourselves do not have sufficient capacity or technical facilities to manufacture a particular product. Fiskars is committed to ensuring that working conditions in its supply chain are safe, workers are treated with respect and dignity, and business operations are environmentally sustainable.

The country of origin of Iittala products is marked on the EAN code or the package of each product.
