GRAND RAPIDS, March 13, 2023 – Fox Motors, a Grand Rapids-based Automotive and Powersports dealer group, acquired three (3) new dealerships and a collision center in Metro Detroit today – Sellers Buick GMC, Sellers Subaru, Sellers Isuzu Commercial Truck and Sellers Collision Center. This is Fox Motors’ third acquisition in Metro Detroit since entering the State’s largest market in December 2021. This acquisition brings the Fox Motors portfolio to 43 locations in Michigan and Illinois, representing 48 automotive and powersports brands. Sellers Buick GMC, located at 38000 Grand River Ave., Farmington Hills, MI 48335, will now operate as Fox Buick GMC. Located at 23651 Hall Rd., Macomb, MI 48042, Sellers Subaru will now operate as Fox Subaru Macomb. Sellers Isuzu Commercial Truck Center, located at 24825 Hathaway St., Farmington Hills, MI 48335, will now operate as Fox Isuzu Truck, and Sellers Collision Center, located at 24631 Hathaway St, Farmington Hills, MI 48335, will now operate as Fox Motors Collision Center.

With the acquisition, Fox Motors has increased its representation in Metro Detroit to eight (8) new and used automotive dealerships and three (3) collision centers. Fox Motors hired over 175 employees from Sellers Auto Group, bringing the total number of employees in the Fox family to 2,075.

Fox Buick GMC and Fox Isuzu Truck’s day-to-day operations will be overseen by General Manager, Colin Barrett. Previously, Mr. Barrett was the General Manager of Fox GMC in Grand Rapids. James Cagle has been with Sellers Auto Group since 2017 and will continue as the General Manager of Fox Subaru Macomb overseeing day-to-day operations.
The acquisition of Fox Buick GMC increases Fox’s General Motors representation to six (6) locations across Michigan, joining Fox Chevrolet in Caledonia, Fox GMC in Grand Rapids, Fox Marquette Chevrolet, Fox Negaunee Chevrolet GMC and Cadillac of Novi. Fox Subaru Macomb increases Fox’s Subaru representation to three (3) locations across Michigan, joining Fox Marquette Subaru and Fox Subaru in Grand Rapids (the #1 Subaru volume store in Michigan).
