Who Sang The National Anthem At The Titans Game Today

The Tennessee Titans won’t be playing in Super Bowl LVIII, but there will still be a heavy Nashville influence in Las Vegas on Feb. 11. Country music legend Reba McEntire and rapper Post Malone will be among the performers for the NFL’s pinnacle event.

Thursday morning, the NFL announced the pregame lineup for Super Bowl LVIII, held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Andra Day will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” and Post Malone will sing “American the Beautiful.”

McEntire will then perform the national anthem prior to kickoff of Super Bowl LVIII. The country sensation released her own statement following the news.

“I’m honored to be part of something as big and historic as the Super Bowl coming to Las Vegas for the first time,” she wrote on X.

McEntire is a Country Music Hall of Famer and a Nashville icon. For decades, she has been one of the most popular voices in the genre.

This marks the second year the NFL has tabbed a country music singer to perform the “Star Spangled Banner.” Last year, Chris Stapleton wowed the crowd at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

Although Post Malone’s music typically falls into the genre of rap, hip-hop and pop, he’s worked his way into the country music world. In addition to releasing a new song, “Pickup Man,” he’s also worked with country artists Brad Paisley, Morgan Wallen and Hardy.

The NFL’s announcement just gives football fans in Nashville an even bigger reason to tune in to Super Bowl LVIII.
