There’s good news this holiday season: NBC is bringing back our favorite public relations specialist and her team to tackle the toughest-to-crack missing persons cases on a second season of Found.
Found is slated to return after luring viewers on NBC and Peacock in with its fantastic cast and edge-of-your-seat storytelling. But what will happen in Season 2? Well, first we have to get through Season 1 – but here’s what we know so far:

What is Found?
Found, which premiered on October 2, 2023, is about Gabi Mosely (Shanola Hampton), a kidnapping survivor who now leads a team to search for missing people whose cases have failed to garner media attention. Those within Gabi’s focus often include people of color, as well as subjects who face bias for their ethnicity, sexual orientation, and lifestyle choices, among other things.
Backed by a band of people whose lives have also been touched by missing persons’ cases — including Margaret Reed (Kelli Williams), a mother whose son disappeared 13 years earlier — Gabi stops at nothing to bring the missing home.

Gabi has a dark secret, however: She’s been secretly solving cases with the help of Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), the man who kidnapped Gabi as a teen and is now himself a captive in Gabi’s basement.

Will Found return for Season 2?
It was recently confirmed Found will indeed return for Season 2.
Found joins The Irrational, another new series this fall, as one of NBC’s latest must-see shows, both of which were addressed in a statement by NBCUniversal’s Lisa Katz, President of Scripted Content.
“These shows are a testament to the incredibly passionate work of our showrunners, Nkechi Okoro Carroll [Found] and Arika Lisanne Mittman [The Irrational], both of whom have executed their visions flawlessly,” Katz stated. “A huge thank you to the talented cast, producers, and crews for their tireless commitment and dedication, which has clearly paid off with audiences making these series must-see television on both NBCand the next day on Peacock.”
Who will star on Found Season 2?

It seems likely both Hampton and Gosselaar will return for Season 2 – although we’ll have to wait and see how Season 1 ends.
Found also stars Gabrielle Walsh as former missing child Lacey Quinn, Chicago Fire’s Brett Dalton as trusted detective Mark Trent, Arlen Escarpeta as an agoraphobic tech whiz, and Karan Oberoi as the emotionally distant Dhan Rana.
So far, no word on who will be returning for Season 2, but we’ll be eagerly awaiting to see who will appear on the next installment of Found.
When does Found Season 1 end?
Two episodes are left to air before Found goes on an official hiatus after Episode 11 on December 12, 2023. However, it will return with two additional episodes on January 9, 2024 to cap off Found’s first season.
For now, get caught up on Found, with new episodes airing Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBCand streaming the next day on Peacock.
