Who’s Leaving Gh

Who’s leaving General Hospital? With mob rivalries heating up, family angst, and other drama, there are some cast changes ahead on the ABC soap. Who’s exiting GH? The most recent exit is William Lipton as Cameron Webber. Plus, there was a touching memorial for Epiphany Johnson.

Who’s Leaving General Hospital? Cameron Webber Exits – William Lipton Out

In late March 2023, William Lipton had his final scenes as Cameron Webber on GH. Everyone came together to say goodbye to him as his character left to attend Stanford University in California period That’s all the way across the country from Port Charles New York.

However, actor William Lipton already let people know that he will be back this Summer. So, why did he leave the role of Cam Webber? The answer is his busy school schedule. Lipton is a sophomore in the class of 2025 at the University of Southern California and LA.

He won’t be gone for too long and will have summer storylines but then we expect Lipton to exit again in the fall when his school schedule resumes and he is a junior even busier than before. So, don’t be sad because he’ll be back to General Hospital soon.

GH Says Goodbye to Epiphany Johnson & Actress Sonya Eddy in Touching Tribute

One that you need to grab tissues for if you haven’t seen it yet is the tribute episode to Epiphany Johnson as they memorialize her and also actress Sonya Eddy who played her. Eddy died late last year from an infection following elective surgery and passed away suddenly.

Although General Hospital fans have known for a while that the soap would have to address her passing, months have gone by since then. But they hosted a touching tribute at the hospital and said that Epiphany had a heart attack while stopping to help a motorist.

And Eddy’s real-life best friend Yvette Nicole Brown showed up as the motorist she saved and was part of the touching tribute and eulogies to the late Sonya Eddy and beloved Epiphany Johnson.

Britt Westbourne Dead from Hook Attack

For months now, GH fans knew the clock was ticking on Britt Westbourne’s exit. That’s because of the GH spoilers about Kelly Thiebaud leaving to go to primetime for her role on Station 19.

Already, Britt struggled with her Huntington’s Disease but it wouldn’t kill her by the time the actress needed to leave. Then, Britt Westbourne planned a big birthday/goodbye bash and it seemed like she’d walk out of Port Charles.

But then, the Hook Killer attacked again on General Hospital. Heather Webber (Alley Mills), in her Hook outfit, attacked Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). And Britt stepped in to save the teen’s life. But it will be what kills Britt.

After she and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) ran off the Hook, Britt Westbourne headed back to the Haunted Star to see her mom, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Then, her mom noticed her dress was torn and a bloody scratch on her chest.

So, the toxin from the Hook was already in her bloodstream. And General Hospital ran out of the anti-venom. So, watch as Britt Westbourne collapses.

She may die in her mother’s arms or make it to the hospital to die there. Either way, Britt dies on GH this week and that’s the last of Kelly Thiebaud.

GH Comings & Goings – Is Liz Webber Exiting?

One of the most concerning storylines right now is about Elizabeth Webber. As she spirals out and is seen less and less many fans worry that Liz might be leaving GH.

It wouldn’t be the first time there was a crisis with Herbst – the last a few years ago when ABC was playing tough with her contract renewal. So, is Elizabeth leaving General Hospital?

Well, hello there…just thought I’d shut down some rumors that have been circulating: I haven’t been fired. I’m not on vacation. I don’t have covid. My kids don’t keep me from working. Nor do I have cramps (the best one yet 😂). I hope you all have a great weekend! XOXO..♥️ #GH

The prevailing answer seems to be “no”. In fact, we could see a familiar face return to be part of Liz’s ongoing mental health crisis. A close family member of the Webber clan. So, that’s exciting news…

And Becky Herbst also shut down exit chatter herself (see the tweet above). So, don’t panic if you see chatter about Liz leaving GH. It’s not happening.

Are Chad Duell & Johnny Wactor Gone from GH?

Other concerning exits from the soap include the actors that play Michael Corinthos and Brando Corbin. First, there’s Michael. Chad Duell came down with COVID-19 and had to take time off the soap.

If you saw Robert Adamson in the role and out and were confused, here’s the deal. General Hospital doesn’t always air in the precise order they film. So, that’s why the in and out, but then back to Adamson as Michael for a couple of weeks.

General Hospital: Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)

Now, Chad’s back on set and resumed taping (see pic above). As for Johnny Wactor, there’s no word yet on why he stepped back for a bit. But, he’s got four films in the works. So, could it be that Wactor’s leaving? Is there GH comings and goings news?

For now, Yellowstone alum Brad Schmidt (who bears an uncanny resemblance to Johnny) steps into the role. Wactor’s expected back but has a TV movie, two feature films, and a short film on his work roster.

Who’s Exiting General Hospital?

Some recent exits also include Patrick Gibbons in and out as helpful scout Wyatt. And Joshua Benard, son of Maurice Benard, popped up again as the college bully messing with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Meanwhile, General Hospital fans worry about Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) but she’s not going anywhere. It’s just a matter of time before Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) plot blows up in her face.

But Esme’s not going anywhere either. The talented young actress signed a three-year deal to play Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) awful daughter.

Meanwhile, look for big bad Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) return. No word how long he sticks around. But he’s sure to wreak havoc. Check back to Soap Dirt often for more news on GH casting.

Now you know who’s leaving General Hospital and what’s just idle chatter.
