Opposite Zodiac Signs
Let’s get one thing straight: any relationship can work no matter what your zodiac signs are. So why do people say they don’t work? Because they don’t know that astrology is about acceptance more than anything else.

When you learn about each other’s inner energies, you become more accepting of why a person is the way they are. It is in this way, we are all able to understand, own our energies and commit to change (if necessary). And if you don’t understand that then I don’t know what else to say to you, lol.

Fire has a passionate and fiery strength that water wants to drink, whereas water has depth and a soulful aura that fire wants to consume. This odd stimulation brings curiosity together and in turn, they come together and attempt a relationship. Sometimes this works, sometimes this doesn’t. It really depends on the rest of your planets. Their ideas will have a challenging time coming together as one. Air will have a harder time understanding why their earth partner isn’t more flexible with their ideas and thoughts. Earth will have a harder time understanding why air isn’t more realistic or even more stable with their ideas.
Why the attraction: Like fire and water, air and earth will become attracted to one another because they both possess something the other one doesn’t. Air possesses out of this world ideas that earth wants to capture, whereas earth possesses indominable and unmovable perspective that air yearns to understand. They will feel a gravitational pull towards one another, the curiosity being too strong to turn down. They both like to learn and research, so they’ll create a bond in forming a student teacher type of relationship (don’t be sick, you know what I mean lol).
What they’ll learn from one another: If they stick it out, air will learn that earth can help them nurture and grow their ideas into reality. Earth will learn that their ideas don’t have to be so stiff or strict, that they are allowed to let go and explore other ideas without so much caution tape.
Water and Air: Clash of Emotions, but Appreciation of Ideas
Water and air are not as bad as water and fire. They will have a misunderstanding of emotions, but they both provide a lot of depth and open-mindedness when it comes to their ideas and thoughts. Their definition of love will be very different, but they are both very flexible elements that will adapt and go with the flow of both air and water.
How they benefit from each other: When combined, they create a world in and above water. Air won’t understand the emotional needs of water, just like fire, but air is more capable of accepting and considering their water lover’s needs. Water will appreciate the efforts of air, and in turn will be more willing to let go of their emotional insecurities. Air will ensure water never feels any emotional threats, water will ensure air is filled with much mental stimulation. They’ll continue to fill one another’s cup, never wanting to let the other one die of mental or emotional thirst.

Earth and Fire: Clash of Actions, but Appreciation of Ideas
Earth and fire are not as bad as earth and air. They will have a misunderstanding of how they act and their demeanors will clash: fire being wild and earth being self-controlled. However, they will appreciate one another’s thought process and their go-getter attitudes will help create a strong bond. Both elements are direct and push forward in life. Although, the way they move forward is different, they will both appreciate their differences over time.
How they benefit from each other: When combined, they become a power couple of actions and materialistic possessions. Both like power, status, and fulfillment of earthly desires. Fire will want to consume earth, but earth cannot be consumed. Earth will want to stomp out fire, but will learn that fire won’t go down without a fight. They’ll provide one another a challenge that both will find joy in continuing. They’ll push one another to greater heights that will benefit their future together.
