“Thank you, Kansas City viewers. You’ve given me an incredible gift,” Eden tweeted alongside the news of her departure.
Abby Eden’s last day on FOX4 News is reportedly Thursday, January 19, 2023. Despite leaving the network, Eden will stay in Kansas City, where she has found her home.

Abby Eden is making a career change as she has announced she is joining Burns & McDonnell.
“We are a 100% employee-owned, full-service engineering, architecture, construction, environmental and consulting solutions firm,” the Burns & McDonnell Twitter account reads.

Abby Eden is leaving FOX4 News to join her husband at work
This career change might come as a surprise for many of Abby Eden’s viewers. For those who have been following the reporter over the years, you might know that her husband, Tyler Curry, is a project manager at Burns & McDonnell.
Eden will be joining her husband in their new shared workspace. She described her exit from FOX4 as “bittersweet” then added that “this was not a decision taken lightly by me or my family, my husband.”
Curry has worked at Burns & McDonnell for almost a decade, starting out as an engineer then becoming a project manager in 2018.
Together, Eden and Curry share three children.
