A teaser for Season 3 of the D’Amelio show appeared to tease some potential drama for Charli and Landon’s relationship in September 2023. In the ad, Charli said: “Landon and I are in a relationship. In the public eye, there’s a lot of pressure.”
That’s not all; the trailer then showed Charli and Landon embracing, with Charli saying: “If you keep one more secret from me, I’m going to melt down.”

Some fans took this to mean that Landon had been keeping secrets from Charli, and that a breakup was imminent for the couple. However, it didn’t look like the two stars broke up in spite of the rumors.
In fact, both Landon and Charli basically confirmed that they were still together in separate interviews after the fact. During a conversation with Toofab, Charli opened up about her relationship with Barker, saying that “right now everything’s great,” and “I’m so happy with how far we’ve come and where we are now, and excited about whatever comes next in this journey with the two of us.”

Earlier, Barker opened up on his relationship with Charli on the Lightweights podcast, explaining that they don’t feel the need to constantly post about their relationship online — something he said was a stark contrast to her past relationship with ex-boyfriend Chase Hudson.

However, things took a turn for the worse in early 2024, as Landon admitted that he and Charli had officially parted ways.
On February 6, Landon posted a statement to his Instagram stories, where he explained why he and his TikTok-famous boo decided to call it quits.

“Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together,” he wrote. “We broke up to focus on ourselves. We are still friends and have so much love for each other.”
“I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared and hope you can respect our decisions. Thank you all, love you all so much!”
However, Charli seems to have a different approach to her breakup, posting a selfie and a humorous quip about how she “lost” her mashed potatoes on Snapchat.
This news doesn’t come as a massive shock to fans, who have been convinced the couple was going through problems for some months. In October, Charli opened up about her relationship with Landon in the season finale of the D’Amelio Show on Hulu, revealing there was more drama going on than met the eye.
In the episode, Charli claimed that Landon had “flipped out” on her during her birthday vacation in the Bahamas.
“He was like, ‘You don’t know how to handle my anxiety,’” Charli claimed. “We were fighting every single night. It was like every little thing that I did. …He was just like, so mad at me.”
For now, it looks like this TikTok-famous couple is officially over, harkening back to big sis Dixie’s now-defunct relationship with ex-boyfriend Noah Beck.
