Starsiak Hawk on her “Mina AF” podcast Friday revealed that she and Miller, project manager on the Indianapolis-based HGTV show “Good Bones,” are no longer on speaking terms.

“Cory and I are not on speaking terms. I am positive that there are things he feels like I did to him, and I’ve known him since he was 11, and I’ve always had a soft spot for him,” she said during the question-and-answer podcast.

The statement confirmed speculation that things were amiss in the relationship after the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram.

“There [were] a couple things that happened towards the end that I, personally, decided that I can’t move on from and that I just don’t want that energy in my life,” she said.
Starsiak Hawk was answering questions posed by a couple of listeners.
“It’s a super bummer because I have, historically, had a great relationship with Cory. And when things end particularly like they did, you know, people’s colors just show a little more, which is a blessing because then I have the choice to make a different choice. And so, that’s what I did.”

The popular house-flipping show, which Starsiak Hawk hosted with her mother, Karen E. Laine, ended in October after eight seasons.

Laine retired from their Two Chicks and a Hammer home renovation business in 2019, but continued to appear on “Good Bones.”
The mom though seems to be on good terms with Miller. On Sunday, Laine posted a photo of Miller to Instagram, saying that he’d visited her place.

Back in August, Starsiak Hawk said there were issues between her, her mom and her siblings.
Despite their Indianapolis store closing, Two Chicks and Hammer plan to relocate their store to Noblesville and do renovation projects in the city, according to Mayor Chris Jensen.
