However, as revealed in the latest chapter, Kenjaku was ambushed by Yuta, who dealt him a fatal blow. As he is about to pass away, Kenjaku mentions that “my wills and desires will be inherited,” which might foreshadow Yuji’s fate in the series.

Itadori’s cursed technique might share a connection between him and Kenjaku in Jujutsu Kaisen
After chapter 236, Jujutsu Kaisen became severely unpredictable due to the sudden demise of Gojo Satoru, as he was the only one capable of going up against the king of curses. Recently, the story focuses more on the battle between Takaba and Kenjaku, and after many centuries, Kenjaku was having the time of his life, enjoying every moment.

However, his happiness and fun were stroked by a fatal blow by none other than Yuta, who ambushed him and severed his head. As he is about to die, Kenjaku mentions that his desire will be inherited, and all the hints point towards Itadori becoming a vessel once again.
In the culling game arc, Sukuna takes over Megumi’s body, vacating Itadori Yuji. As we know, Kaori Itadori and Jin Itadori gave birth to Yuji, and sometime in the story, Kenjaku took over Itadori’s mother’s body.
Throughout the story, Itadori’s existence has been part of Kenjaku’s plan to be a hub for the ongoing creation of cursed spirits and a vessel for Sukuna. Choso might also be a potential candidate to inherit the will since Kenjaku was involved in his birth. Still, Itadori, being the vessel of Sukuna, gives him the edge over him.
Kenjaku has also mentioned several times in the story about his hopes regarding Yuji, and maybe Itadori will play a pivotal role in the upcoming chapters.

Kenjaku was always the one pulling the strings, and now he has been dealt a fatal blow by Yuta, who is deemed the second strongest sorcerer of today after Gojo Satoru. Many fans must realize that Kenjaku is the story’s main antagonist, not Sukuna. However, it will be interesting to see what happens to Kenjaku.
However, it is still not confirmed whether Kenjaku died or not from that blow or if he has a card up his sleeve.
The possibility of body-changing is very low since he added a rule to the culling game that states that the game will end when Megumi and Geto die.
If he body hops, he needs to vacate the body of Geto, which will ultimately mean his plans are going to waste. As it stands, the upcoming chapters will play a crucial role in the entire series.
