Sylvester Stallone’s last acquisition stands in a sunny location appreciated by many wealthy personalities due to its tax-friendly policies. Palm Beach, Florida, provides a great climate, with amenities and entertainment, such as docks, golf courses, and avenues that offer high-end shops, art galleries, and delicious gastronomic venues. The area was previously known as “Lake Worth”, named after Major General William Jenkins Worth. It was occupied since 1892 and with the aim of industrial development, the settlers planted coconuts. Sly Stone (Sylvester Stallone’s nickname) is not a Floridian newcomer, as his late father Frank Stallone Sr., owned a house in Wellington.

Sylvester Stallone’s property, the 1480 N Lake Way, is located on the west side of the land body, with views over the Lake Worth Lagoon that severs it from the mainland. 2. The property
The estate is led by a mansion that is accompanied by a guest house, a guest pavilion, and an open cabana by the pool. Seven bedrooms fit Sylvester Stallone’s estate that is serviced by twelve bathrooms – ten full, the rest half bathrooms, – and a garage that fits three vehicles. The remaining quarters are composed of the spacious 14-guest-fitting dining room, an eat-in kitchen, a work/library room, a utility room, and a pantry.

The place, although with minimal risk of wildfire (1 out of 10), suffers from a severe risk of flooding (8 out of 10), with a 99.60% risk of flooding in the following three decades. As a consequence of climate change, the risk of flood is increasingly affected by precipitation, the rise of the sea level, and storm surge caused by hurricanes, as stated by realtor.com. Regarding this last phenomenon, Century 21 informs that this area is at least six times more probable of suffering from them than the average of the country.
Even higher is the risk of heat (9/10). Realtor.com also informs that, due to climate change, the number of days with temperatures over 40.5 ºC is expected to increase by 180% in the next 3 decennia, which is an increase to 14 hot days from the 5 currently expected to be felt at the property of Sylvester Stallone.

Labelled from the Caribbean to Bermuda, Sylvester Stallone’s house reflects the Floridian wealthy spirit in a contemporary manner. The warm climate is addressed through the employment of large windows that stimulate airflow, blending together the outside and inside into a permeable scene.
