2. Piles
Swelling or inflammation of the veins of the anal area is known as hemorrhoids or piles. This is a very common condition and is found in 3 out of 5 individuals.
Symptoms of Piles include:
- Pain when passing stool

9. Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)

6. “Perianal” Crohn’s disease
Crohn’s disease is a condition that leads to chronic inflammation of the digestive tract. In most cases, the disease affects the small intestine, but it can also affect the entire digestive tract and also the anus. If reached till the anus, the disease can cause pain, swelling, itching, redness or irritation in the anal area.
7. Anal Sex
Anal sex can cause anal swelling. Rough anal intercourse can irritate the area and cause swelling, redness or burning sensations.
