Why Is It Levioso

It is quite strange that there are two levitation spells in Hogwarts Legacy, but Levioso and Wingardioum Leviosa are quite different from each other in fact. They each have their own uses in the game as you make platforms for your witch or wizard to jump on. Here is the difference between Levioso and Wingardium Leviosa in Hogwarts Legacy.

  • You can actually change how you look in Hogwarts Legacy.

Why Are Levioso and Wingardium Leviosa Different?

One of the first spells you gain in Hogwarts Legacy is the Levioso charm, and it has multiple uses. First, it is a great way to surprise an enemy wizard or goblin by leaping them off their feet and hovering in the air. This is a great way to incapacitate a foe. The other reason why Levioso is important is that it leaves objects in place in the air. This means you can use them to get to a higher ledge.

Levioso and Wingardium Leviosa are different, however, because the latter is more of a utility spell. You can’t use it in battle, and you can operate the levitated item rather than simply keeping it in one place hovering in the air. With the D-Pad on your controller, you can move an object with Wingardium Leviosa and even rotate it if you’d like. This is particularly useful during the High Keep quest, in which you’re climbing the battlements. It would be curious how well the Elder Wand would perform these spells if we were given the chance.

You’ll find puzzles revolving around Wingardium Leviosa and Levioso while exploring the open world. It can be a decent way to make gold as well in Hogwarts Legacy.

  • Changing your name in Hogwarts Legacy would be a nice feature but is it included?

How To Equip Wingardium Leviosa in Hogwarts Legacy

Wingardium Leviosa can be equipped in the spell selection screen. It is outlined in blue rather than yellow and has a wand with wings as an emblem. You may think Levioso and Wingardium Leviosa are the same spell, but that is incorrect.

Hopefully, you can now understand the difference between Levioso and Wingardium Leviosa. It’s like McDonald’s and Burger King. They both offer the same utility (burgers), but they each have their own qualities that make them unique; Burger King, for example, is known for its flame-grilled meat.
