While some scenes are inconceivable, it’s summer blockbuster escapism at its best. The action never stops and as excited as I am for the second half, I wish that it was one film. A two-parter takes out some of the suspense.
The female characters are supremely talented, enjoyable, and kick-butt. It was so refreshing to not see them sexualized and bring heart and fearless attitudes to their characters. Kudos to Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Pom Klementieff, and Vanessa Kirby.
