Why Was Joe Rogan In Jail

JRE is a podcast where, among other things, people get to hear about the wild experiences of Joe Rogan’s guests. Over a year ago, podcast lovers listened to the prison story of UFC coach Jacob Behney. Behney is also the stepfather of UFC star Bobby Green. When Green became the guest of Joe Rogan, the 56-year-old was eager to learn about the UFC fighter’s experience in prison. Green, who spent ninety days in prison, felt that his stepfather was the right person to talk about the horrific experiences one has to face inside the prison.

According to Behney, there is an unwritten code in California prisons that says that inmates from different racial backgrounds should not mingle with each other. However, as a first-time offender, he was unaware of the code, and it almost got him killed. After watching the episode of Behney at JRE, an ex-convict claims that Rogan is too naive to believe Behney. Is Behney not telling the truth?

Ex-con calls out fake prison story believed by Joe Rogan

A video of an ex-convict watching JRE was uploaded on the YouTube channel ‘Dubs’. He was watching the episode titled ‘Trying to Survive in Prison as a First-Time Offender.’ In the video, Behney narrated how he once sat down to play chess with a prison inmate who was from another racial background. There were a lot of people who stood with them, and all of them were against Behney. He didn’t realize that, and while he was going to take a shower, other people in the prison attacked him.

When the ex-convict listened to the story, he soon claimed it was fake. Moreover, he mentioned that the UFC commentator is way too innocent to believe the story narrated by Behney. The ex-convict said, “Does anybody believed this sh*t? I am glad that Joe Rogan is naive when it comes to jail. That means he’s never done jail time but in California I just don’t see how this is possible.” Rogan has never been to jail, and because of that, it is difficult for him to understand if someone is lying about their prison experience or not. The UFC commentator once even claimed that jail was the best place to improve one’s immune system.

The UFC commentator suggests jail time for better immunity

In episode #1987 of JRE, the former Fear Factor host and musician Jelly Roll discussed a variety of topics. During the chat, Jelly Roll talked about how COVID-19 affected people differently. Rogan claimed people should work on their immunity to save themselves from deadly viruses. Further, he stated that serving jail time is the best way to improve a person’s immunity, as different people from different backgrounds surround them.

Surprisingly, Rogan also believes that the stimulation of a person’s immune system is possible only if they are subjected to extreme conditions. Hence, he thought that jail was a better option. What are your thoughts about Rogan’s take on jail? Let us know in the comments below.
